The younger of two siblings, Jason Kang has always been a trouble child. From being born as Korean-American in San Francisco, California and being left in Seoul, South Korea as punishment for his behavior he has always felt as though he has lived in the shadow of his older sister. However, Jason loves her none the less.[break][break]

Jason has a strong love for theater and dancing, having used to go to theatrical performances with his mother and sister when they lived in San Francisco. There, he found his love for dancing himself and convinced his mother to enroll him in dance classes at a local studio. While his sister was working on her grades and achieving honors, Jason was barely making it by and focusing more on how to get himself known for his skill and love of dancing. He finally found that possibility when trying out for a contest in order to debut with KPOP group overseas. While he didn't win, he did get recognized, and was offered a deal to be flown to Korea. After getting his strict father's approval, Jason became a trainee...but screwed up royally.[break][break]

As a young, naive teenager who was eating up the popularity of being a trainee, Jason didn't take the entire process and training seriously. He missed practices, he missed classes offered by the company, and eventually he was let go from the program. Flunked out of the company and high school, Jason stayed with some of his friends which he would party with over the weekends, often involved in underage drinking and smoking, in Incheon and about two months later was discovered by his parents after they received a call asking if Jason had made it home safely from Korea.[break][break]

Jason was sent to live with his sister, who had years before flown to Korea herself to study culinary arts and successfully open a cafe, as punishment. Held back in high school, he was enrolled in a private institution in order to catch him up on progress he lost. By a few miracles, he was able to graduate a year older than the normal age and get on with his life. Now, he attends university as a biology major in hopes to work with animals, his second love next to dancing.

Jason has a lot of good qualities that can earn him friends. He's normally comfortable with talking to just about anyone, and on top of it he has a good sense of humor. But most importantly, he has a natural charisma about him and an eye smile that can melt anyone's heart. Jason is extremely approachable, and extremely loyal. He takes his friendships very seriously, and he's dedicated to those that are most important to him as much as he is dedicated to any interest or dream he has. There's also a chance that he may be easily recognizable, due to the fact that when he was a trainee he was uploading dance videos onto YouTube before he moved to Korea and for a limited time after, before being kicked out of his company. So if someone recognizes him through those means, he'll still be extremely friendly and act familiar.[break][break]

Jason may have enemies. If he does, he's a bit oblivious to them. He's the type that likes to stay positive, and he prefers to keep negativity out of his life. He's not as naive as he used to be when he was a teenager living up the limelight and attention, however he just prefers to not act on negative thoughts and feelings and he prefers to ignore those of other's towards him. No matter if someone dislikes him, Jason is the type to still act friendly towards them. The only time this is an exception is if someone he loves is hurt in the process. Either way—he can have people who dislike him for a multitude of reasons. For his short lived internet fame, for his short lived trainee life period, or because that one time in high school he held of on the group project until the last minute and the group only managed to get an average grade.[break][break]

Here is where Jason's life get's complicated. Jason is single, technically. But in his heart and mind only one person will ever have him: Cha Bo Mi. Jason is under the impression that him and Bomi are soulmates due to the fact that he once hit her on the head with a baseball, and proceeded to use his puppy Bingsu to heal her head—which didn't work, and when the two discovered she was bleeding, a hospital trip ensued. Then it was discovered that the two were enrolled in the same high school, and Jason went out of his way to make up the head trauma to her. After so much time trying to win her over through apologizing, he started to fall for her many quirks and fall in love with the sides of herself she didn't think were all so great. Now, he spends his time reminding her just how beautiful and amazing she is, hoping one day for a date. Or to call her his girlfriend.[break][break]

Despite that, though, Jason is technically bisexual and due to his charming personality, is known to be quite a flirt. But to him, no one compares quite as well as Bomi. Before meeting her, due to his party nature, it's possible he was involved with both girls and guys alike and may have had some flings. Honestly, anything is possible and open (and past lovers or current crushes are always welcome in order for Jason to solidify is love towards Bomi and maybe create drama for fun).[break][break]
